STAAR

Spring 2024 Administration

For the spring 2024 STAAR administration, TEA will offer a two-week testing window for each content-area grouping: mathematics, reading language arts (RLA), and science and social studies.

For paper administrations of STAAR, district personnel should plan to conduct testing during the first one and a half weeks of the testing window and reserve the last two to three days for ensuring that all student responses are entered in DEI. All assessments must be completed and entered in the system and all students must be accounted for in the system by 11:59 p.m. (CT) on the last day of the two-week window for each content-area grouping. For example, all RLA data must be entered before the close of the RLA testing window. The Calendar of Events lists specific dates for these activities within each two-week testing window.

December 2023 and June 2024 Administrations

TEA will offer a two-week testing window for both the December 2023 and June 2024 STAAR administrations. (CT) on April 26.
