2022–2023 Regional Testing Coordinator Training

On September 30, 2022, Texas Education Agency (TEA) staff hosted the education service center (ESC) training covering all the components of the Texas Assessment Program for the 2022–2023 school year. Following a “training of trainers” model, ESC staff will then train district testing coordinators. It is recommended that training of district coordinators be completed by November 11, 2022. Regional and district coordinators are required to be trained in test security and administration procedures at least once. However, annual test administration training for regional and district coordinators is strongly encouraged, especially for policies and procedures that have changed.

Recordings of and PowerPoint presentations from the 2022–2023 Regional Testing Coordinator Training are posted in the Learning Management System (LMS).

Training Modules

Trainings and Webinars

All district and campus personnel who participate in state-mandated testing or handle secure test materials and content are required to be trained at least once in test security and administration procedures. In addition to this required training, optional training modules are available on the LMS. Although the trainings are available to any district staff members who have access to the LMS, the following chart provides recommended training based on role.
